Is Doris a public booking page like Calendly?

No. I'm for closed memberships, invite only. There's no public link, no marketing your venue, no chasing strangers for card details.

Does Doris handle payments?

I never hold the money, and that's intentional. On Diary & Billing I raise the statements, and if you connect your own Stripe account your members can pay by card, straight into your bank. Bank transfer and cash work exactly as before. The money is always yours; I just keep the score.

Which plan do I need?

Diary if you just need rooms booked without clashes. Diary & Billing if you charge for them: different rates for different members, extras, statements and analytics.

Do my team need to download an app?

No App Store needed. I install from the browser: one tap, and I sit on the home screen like a native app.

How does the free trial work?

Up to 28 days free, no card, and every trial is a full Diary & Billing trial. You get 14 days to start, a week when you finish setup, and another week once you've added five members.

Not in the part that books your room. That's plain, predictable software. At the edges I open up, so the assistant you already use can read your data and take the admin off your hands. On Diary & Billing, with your permission, revocable in one click.

What happens if I cancel?

Read-only mode. Your data and history stay, no new bookings can be made, come back anytime.

Adding your members

Add someone with just their email - they’re in straight away.

A member is anyone who books with you. Give me their email address and a role and they exist at once: I send a welcome email with your name in the subject and a sign-in button that needs no password, and until they use it you can book on their behalf. There is no invitation to chase and nothing for them to set up.

Your members list

Everyone in your organisation, with their role and status at a glance. Tap Add member to grow the list.

Add a member

Enter their email and set their role. Owners can add an admin here; admins add bookers. Adding several at once? Separate the emails with commas.

They’re in straight away

No invite step to remember. The member is active immediately and Doris emails them a sign-in link - the badge shows who hasn’t signed in yet.

Help them in

Open any member to grab a fresh sign-in link you can hand over or text, or to resend their welcome email.

Admin or booker?

You can have up to three admins alongside the owner, and only the owner can appoint one. An admin adds bookers.

Both plans hold up to 100 rooms and 500 members, so the length of your list is never what decides your price. If you are somehow near either number, get in touch.

Books for themselves or anyone else. Can approve requests. Up to 3 per org, appointed by the owner.

Booker

Views rooms and makes bookings for themselves only.

What your member receives

A welcome email sent as “Doris for your organisation”, with your name in the subject line, a short list of what they can now do, your phone number if you have given me one, and a single-use sign-in link - no password to invent on the spot, no invite code. If they reply, it reaches you.

Once they’ve signed in, they book for themselves. Until then you can book on their behalf, and their member page always has a fresh link if the email goes astray.
